History, Theory, & Foundations of Play Therapy

     This is a precursor to other play therapy workshop offerings. A historical perspective relative to the origins, contributions of the giants in the field and the early use of play therapy will be included. Play therapy techniques will be presented and practiced.

This online activity is designed for:

Social workers (LCSW, LMSW, LISW, BSW, AAW), psychologists (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.) school counselors, school psychologist, professional counselors (LMHC, LCMHC, CMHC, LPC, LCPC), marriage and family therapists (LMFT, LIMFT) art therapists, play therapists, occupational therapists, graduate students, and others in the mental health-related field.  This is a beginner level online activity which means that no previous experience is needed in order to participate.

How to access online activity after purchase:

     To gain access this online course, the participant will be required to create an account on BizVision.  Once a participant logs into his/her BizVision account and provides payment for the online course, the presentation and any supplementary materials will be made available for use.  A posttest and evaluation will also be sent at the completion of the course to be completed.  Once all aspects of the course have been successfully completed, the participant can expect to receive a certificate of completion via email.
